Last updated: 10 August 2026 · Draft for product preview
KA Matrimony (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This draft policy explains how we intend to handle personal information when the platform is offered to the public. Until a production database and verified contact channels are live, treat the site as a private preview.
What we collect
Account details you provide (name, email, phone, age, gender, community, location, education, occupation, marital status, and related biodata), session cookies used to keep you signed in, and basic technical logs needed to operate the service.
How we use it
To create and manage your account, show relevant profiles, improve matchmaking, prevent fraud and abuse, and communicate about your account. We will not sell personal biodata.
Sharing
Profile information you choose to publish may be visible to other signed-in members. We may use infrastructure providers (hosting, authentication) under contractual safeguards. We disclose information when required by law.
Retention & rights
We aim to retain data only as long as needed for matrimony services or legal obligations. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account data once production support channels are active. Members must meet applicable legal eligibility requirements (including legal marriageable age under Indian law as applicable).
Contact
For privacy requests after launch, use the details on our Contact page. A dedicated grievance / DPO contact will be published before public release.
